Southbound I-75 split toward ATLANTA........... TAKE FIRST EXIT, EAST RIDGE EXIT (GET in FAR RIGHT Lane as soon as you get on I-75 toward Atlanta) THEN go right at top of ramp,Left on S Mack Smith Rd (Dunkin’ Donuts) follow signs To Holiday Travel Park On right (Across from Dollar General Store)

Lookout Mountain rises 2,000 feet above sea level and overlooks Chattanooga. The views are as amazing. Attractions include Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, and Rock City. *Incline Railway is closed till June due to a fire which damaged part of the tracks.

Attractions include Tennessee Aquarium, Southern Belle Riverboat, Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, Raccoon Mountain Caverns, Honest Charlie's Hotrod Museum, Pinball Museum, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Towing and the Chattanooga River Walk. The Railroad Museum has a 6 mile train ride with a steam engine. www.tvrail.com
National Medal of Honor Museum, Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park, Point Park on Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge are great places to visit.
Note: Roger's son-in-law has volunteered to lead a free tour of the local Civil War history. He has a history major and teaches High School Students.
The Raccoon Mountain project is TVA’s largest hydroelectric facility. Water is pumped to the reservoir on top of the mountain and then used to generate electricity when additional power is needed by the TVA system. *Raccoon Mountain Visitors Center and overlook closed till June.
